As part of the Special Campaign 4.0 aimed at institutionalizing Swachhata (cleanliness) and addressing pending references in government offices, the Andaman and Nicobar Administration has identified 20 sites and offices for cleaning from October 2 to 31, 2024. This initiative, led by the Administrative Reforms and Training Wing, seeks to promote cleanliness and improve the efficiency of government functioning.

On October 9, 2024, a cleanliness drive was conducted at the Andaman and Nicobar Archives Complex. The event saw enthusiastic participation from all staff members under the guidance of the Assistant Secretary (Archives). The initiative highlighted the importance of maintaining clean and organized public offices.

The Urban Development Section of the Secretariat also took part in the campaign by carrying out extensive cleaning activities. The Special Campaign 4.0 in the A & N Islands is being bolstered by the active participation of the SVPMC, whose staff assisted various departments in their cleanliness efforts.
