The Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (CS&CA) has once again extended the deadline for e-KYC for all members listed in Ration Cards until 15th May 2024. Despite repeated requests and extensive efforts, a significant number of beneficiaries have yet to update their e-KYC information.

The beneficiaries, including Above Poverty Line (APL), Priority Households (PHH), and Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) cardholders, who have not completed their e-KYC are urged to promptly visit their nearest FPS or respective Supply Units located in the Inter Islands. All beneficiaries listed in the ration cards need to carry their aadhaar with them to update their e-KYC.

Additionally, beneficiaries can visit the Directorate of CS&CA, Port Blair, at Room No. 20 to update their e-KYC before May 15, 2024. A list of beneficiaries who have not yet completed the e-KYC process has been provided to their respective FPSs for reference.

Notably, some beneficiaries have encountered difficulties in updating their e-KYC due to issues such as outdated fingerprints or other reasons. These individuals are urged to visit the Aadhaar Enrolment Centre in the Directorate of Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Port Blair, or any Aadhaar Enrolment Centre in their respective Tehsils to get their biometrics updated. This opportunity is emphasized as the final chance to update the e-KYC of Ration Cards.
