He recently took action against many errant officers of Andaman and Nicobar Police. DGP keeps the Islanders informed on the crimes that Andaman and Nicobar Police took action on, through his tweets.
The tweets from the official account of DGP, A&N Islands are widely shared on social media and instant messaging apps. The groups in instant messaging apps are usually filled with screenshots of the tweets by the DGP, A&N Islands.
DGP, A&N Islands recently tweeted from his twitter account praising the beauty of Great Nicobar Island. His tweet said “Great Nicobar is BEAUTIFUL. Great Nicobar Biosphere Reserve and Galathea Forest Reserves are Nature’s Gift to the humanity. We must cherish our heritage.”. The tweets were accompanied with four photos of Great Nicobar.
Three of the photos shared by the DGP were taken at Great Nicobar Biosphere Reserve and one at Galathea National Park.
Great Nicobar is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The Island is reach in flora and fauna and there are hundreds of endemic species. Great Nicobar is also utterly ignored by the Andaman and Nicobar Administration and its tourism potential has remained unexplored.
