Election to Elect PBMC Chairperson for Third Year Term to be Held on 25th April 2024

In a bid to chart the course for the governance of Port Blair Municipal Council (PBMC) for the upcoming year, the Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman has issued a notice to all elected members of the council, summoning a special meeting slated for April 25, 2024, at 11 a.m. The focal agenda of this meeting is to conduct the crucial election for the position of PBMC Chairperson, marking the commencement of the third year term tenure.

Following the election, the newly elected Chairperson will solemnise their commitment to serve the city by taking the oath of allegiance, administered during the same gathering subsequent to the declaration of the election results.
