The general public has been informed that a Jan Sunwai is scheduled to take place on August 10 at 10 a.m. in the Gram Panchayat Hall, Wimberlygunj. The event will be chaired by the Director (Power) of the Andaman & Nicobar Administration, who will engage with local residents to address power-related issues in the area.
This Jan Sunwai serves as a crucial platform for the community to voice their concerns, offer feedback, and discuss matters of local significance. It underscores the importance of transparency, accountability, and active community involvement in the decision-making process. Residents of Wimberlygunj are encouraged to participate actively in the discussions.
As part of the event, a presentation on the consumer complaint handling mechanism will be given, along with a live demonstration. This aims to familiarize residents with the grievance handling system, ensuring they can effectively register complaints and seek timely redressal. Additionally, there will be a discussion on the installation of a new power plant in the area, highlighting ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and services.
