In its ongoing efforts to support the underprivileged and address pressing social issues, Team Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi (PBGKR) organized a significant brainstorming session focusing on suicide prevention and drug addiction awareness. Held at the Brichgunj Military Station, the event aimed to shed light on the rising concerns of suicide and substance abuse gripping the islands.

With a commitment to reaching out to all segments of society, PBGKR has been actively involved in providing essential services such as food assistance, medical aid, educational resources, financial support, and clothing to those in need.

The session, attended by approximately 120 individuals, featured a compelling talk by Ms. Maria Sheela, who emphasized the importance of self-love and the value of life. Her address resonated deeply with the audience, sparking meaningful dialogue and increasing awareness about these critical issues.

Mr. Mandeep Grewal, the Founder and President of PBGKR, expressed his gratitude to Ms. Maria Sheela for her insightful contribution and dedication to raising awareness. Grewal underscored the significance of life as a precious gift and urged all islanders to seek assistance if needed, emphasizing that PBGKR is available for consultation and support around the clock.

The session concluded with a renewed commitment from PBGKR to continue its efforts in addressing social challenges and supporting the well-being of the community.
