The State Bank of India’s Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) in Port Blair is set to offer a free beauty parlour management course for unemployed women in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands this August. This initiative aims to empower women by providing them with the skills needed to start their own beauty parlour businesses and earn a sustainable livelihood.
The training program is being organised under the guidelines of the Ministry of Rural Development, with a focus on uplifting women from Self Help Groups (SHGs) and those belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families. Priority will be given to these groups, ensuring that those in most need of economic support and skill development have the opportunity to participate.
Successful candidates will receive a course completion certificate, enhancing their credentials and increasing their chances of securing employment or starting their own enterprises in the beauty industry.
Prospective candidates are encouraged to bring the necessary qualification documents for enrollment. For further details, interested individuals can reach out to Mr. P. Kaliswaran on Mobile 9434265027 or Mr. Naveen Raj Kumar on Mobile 9933246046, or visit the SBI RSETI office located on the 2nd floor of the SBI Regional Business Office in Mohanpura, Aberdeen Bazaar, Port Blair.
