The Mini Stadium in Rangat has come alive with the fervour of competition as the North & Middle Andaman District Police inaugurated the second season of the SP Cup-2024 on March 8, 2024. This eagerly awaited tournament is set to run until March 17, 2024, promising a spectacle of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
A total of 12 teams from various corners of the region have eagerly taken to the field, bringing with them a mix of talent and determination. As the matches unfold, spectators can anticipate a series of thrilling encounters that are sure to keep them on the edge of their seats.
The opening ceremony saw the esteemed presence of Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, North & Middle Andaman District, who expressed her enthusiasm for the event. “We are thrilled to kickstart the second season of the SP Cup – 2024,” remarked the Superintendent of Police. “This tournament not only promotes sports but also strengthens the bond between the police and the public. It provides our youth with a platform to showcase their talent.”
