In a heartwarming celebration of Diwali, Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi, an NGO dedicated to serving the underprivileged, joined hands with the Directorate of Social Welfare to bring joy and inclusivity to the old age inmates and specially-abled children of Abhyudaya Complex in Ferrargunj.
As part of their philanthropic efforts, PB Guru Ki Rasoi generously distributed clothes, sweets, and Diyas, illuminating the lives of all the residents of the Abhyudaya Complex. The gesture aimed not only to bring warmth and happiness but also to foster a sense of belonging during the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
Adding a musical touch to the festivities, the NGO organized a special musical tribute for the elderly inmates, featuring the talented band “BRW Entertainment.” The soulful tunes and heartwarming performances created an enchanting atmosphere, evoking nostalgia and joy among the elderly participants.
The Diwali celebration reached its peak with a small community lunch, emphasizing the spirit of togetherness and camaraderie. Mr. Mandeep Grewal, Founder & President of PB Guru Ki Rasoi, expressed, “The Diwali celebration at Abhyudaya Complex was a testament to our commitment to promoting social harmony and inclusivity.
