In a significant stride towards enhancing ease of living and promoting e-governance, the District Administration of Nicobar has successfully digitized land records for all seven revenue villages of Great Nicobar Island within the Nicobar district. This development aims to streamline land-related processes and make information readily accessible to the general public.

The seven revenue villages covered under this initiative include Campbell Bay, Govind Nagar, Joginder Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Vijay Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, and Shastri Nagar. The digitized land records are now accessible to the public for viewing and downloading, marking a notable advancement in administrative efficiency and transparency.

Individuals can conveniently access the portal and download their land records through the URL: http://db.and.nic.in/rorview. This initiative is poised to simplify land-related transactions and empower citizens with easy access to crucial documentation.

To ensure the accuracy and timeliness of records, the Tehsildar of Campbell Bay has been entrusted with the responsibility to promptly update any changes in the Record of Rights (ROR) within seven days of the issuance of relevant orders. This proactive measure underscores the administration’s commitment to maintaining up-to-date and reliable land records.

For any queries or assistance regarding this initiative, the general public is encouraged to reach out to the designated contact numbers: 03193-265241 and 03192-265999, or visit the Tehsildar’s office in Campbell Bay.
